I bought a 2.5N/A 'B' reg landrover 90, dismantled it & found chassis to be rotten through and diffs are gone. Also bought a 200tdi engine from a 'H' reg discovery which i have V5 for.

Have just landed a bargain with a 300tdi 96 reg rolling chassis but with no I.D. Im gonna fit the engine tomorow but am wondering, when i come to put this beast on the road, will it have to go on a Q plate or will it be allowed on my trusty 'B' reg????
Can anyone help? :confused:

you wont get that on the road without ****e loads of hassle.
 
Unlikely to get a Q Plate as well more likely to get a N Plate based on the chassis age.
