Hi

Just got my first Land Rover, a Defender 90. It is a van (no windows or rear seats) at the moment and the log book has it as a Light Goods Vehicle.
I want to put windows and rear forward facing fold up (occasional) seats in the back for the kids, but not sure if I need to tell the DVLA or whether it changes the class of the vehicle and not sure how it affects insurance
Any advice would be really welcome

you'll need to register the change in the number of seats (if they're forwards facing) and inform ya insurance. (regardless of seat orientation)

Getting CSW sides and seats. If you want them is simple enough.

Would it not be easier to buy a CSW? I know when I was looking to buy a CSW I was put off by and walked away from many converted ones. Just a thought.
