can anyone shed some light on what might be the issue with my 2.4 tdci Defender ?
Symptoms are surging acceleration between 2000 and 3000rpm. I have had the Vcv changed and still does it. I had an error code of P0404, egr issue, cleared it and that has not come back, but still this even acceleration. Could it be the egr? I unplugged it and it still did it! BTW only does it when up to temperature. I have new MAP and MAF sensors.
