Does anyone know if the parts in the engine for the LR puma 2.4 Tdci are fully interchangeable with the ford transit 2.4 tdci?

Pretty sure they are exactly the same except a couple of aux items. I think the puma's were recalled on an oil pump failure but I don't remember the transit getting the same recall. Is there a price difference or something?

There is a pretty big difference in the price of parts depending if you go to LR or Ford.

Thanks guys, I have a buyer aboard that I ship parts to occasionally . Its the availability of parts and the price difference that made me ask.

I'm guessing Ford will be cheaper? We have a similar situation when maintaining my dad's Jaguar X-Type (yes its a mondeo in drag - I know)

You say that but jag are cheaper for things like a EGR valve then ford! They must put there prices up as it's a common problem and there's a lot More mondeos then x types on the road
