Hi,

I am currently having difficulty clearing an engine warning light indication on my Defender 110, 2007. Diagnostic indicates fault from air mass flow indicator. I have carried out the following actions in an attempt to clear:- 1. Changed air mass flow meter. (light returned after 50+ miles (light comes on after re-start). 2. Replaced K&N filter with standard LR filter. (light returned after 50+ miles (light comes on after re-start). 3. Carried out smoke test which highlighted potential air leak on pipe push fit connection after air filter. (light returned after 50+ miles (light comes on after re-start). Can anyone provide any advice on other items to check, or is there history of similar fault occuring on this model? I would be very grateful for any support. I aslo contacted an LR dealer, and they suggested replacing the turbo actuator as the next action?

Thanks,

ChrisLR

Place this over the warning light. Job done.

I'm taking it into my local garage later this week, so I'll ask them to look at this. I've seen some forums about blanking off and removing the EGR valve. Would be nice if this solved the problem.
