Hi all i have a bad vibration when slowing down from 60mph to about 40mph in 5th or 4th gear i have looked at the props and both feel good and ujs good also dose anyone no what else it could be

Have you tried to grease the UJ's and the slider if possible?

How are you testing the props to decide they are good, looking isnt enough.

Yes done both ujs and slider on both props

No its when im gearing down when coming to junctions and roundabouts and so on

Does it only do it when slowing down, not pulling off from standstill?

Check diff/transfer box backlash and halfshafts for wear I suppose.

A hand brake drum that is sticking just a bit can give these symptoms,if safe to do so have a feel of the drum just after an event. Do this with the handbrake off [ chock vehicle or have someone on the foot brake while you do this.] Carefull drum may well be hot, if so then this is the problem.
