Howdy,

A few months back I swapped a x3 for Disco TD5. All looked fine or at least compared to my last Disco2 pretty much the same apart from a few knocks here and there it drove well and shock of shocks the sunroof's worked and not only that they didn't leak! No really, they didn't!

A month later though the rear bags are leaking so it's booked in to have them replaced with springs. The weekend just gone though I was having a bit of a play (tinker) and found out the ACE had been disconnected! Arse, I thought it was a little bouncy but put it down to the springs being old and leaky.

It looks like a half arsed job though, the pipe from the fluid reservoir has been disconnected, the pump removed and replaced with the free spinning pulley wheel. However the ACE antiroll bars are still in place, hence have arsed job.

What difference does it make? It feels a little like a Disco1 I had but not as flat at cornering as a working ace system. Is worth adding none ACE bars?

Worth fitting new air bags and fixing ACE.

Mine handles pretty well on bags and ACE
