If you ae carful a nylon or leather hammer on the yoke (not though the uj) while holding the other end to try and break it free. Then once moving grease everything up.
Bit of a coincidence, I'm very fond of Punk IPA myself and I'm currently enjoying a few cans.
Unless the greasing regime was poor, before they were taken off, they should free up easily. If they're being stubborn you could pop the rubber boot off and spray penetrating/release fluid down the splines. If they're that bad then once loose I'd pull them apart to see how rusty they are. If not bad then I would clean, grease and reassemble.

I spent ages trying to free up my front propshaft slider and although I got a bit of movement back it wasn't smooth. I read somewhere that the splines are coated in something that once gone will prevent it sliding smoothly. In the end I just went for a new front prop as they're not the most expensive things in the world.

Those props with plastic on the splines are a right pain. If you start to pull one apart and see the plastic before you pull it all the way out stick it straight back in as once out chances are it will not go back without peeling the plastic. You will know how I know this.

I recall a few years ago I just wired one end around a tree and the other end to the towball and drove off, it took 3 attempts but separated..
