I have turned my td4 into front wheel drive due to viscus failure.. Can I remove rear diff and drive shafts and run like this or do I need covers on inside for mot pass

you cant remove the cvs else the wheel bearings will collapse after a few miles

I would imagine if you stripped out the diff and shafts and then removed the outer CV joint you could then just refit the outer CV to hold the bearings together.
