Have a little restoration project.

Not sure which is the most daunting emptying the garage so I can work on it .... or the restoration itself??

It's spent the last 20 odd years as a farm run about and hardly seen a road in it's life so from the outside it appears pretty solid. Obviously the real proof will only become apparent when the body is off but at the moment it looks like only the rear crossmember is a bit tired lol

He has got loads of Series III's and at least one other Series II

The plan...... is to have a weekend and run about soft top  :D :D

Wow ... what a project ... 1st thing it needs is a stereo, seems like there isn't one in there :)

well if you wouldnt mind asking him when you pick it up how much a series 3 bulkhead might be I'd appreciate it :D

what engines in it at the moment ?

I'd go modern ... CD multi changer etc. You want to make it look like a modern Landy surely ... oh and don't forget to paint it first, I like purple on a series IIa with alloys ;);:D

S' funny you should say that.....

Did you see that one at Billing??

I must admit it does appeal somewhat.

Maybe the next one  :D :D :D

I didn't see the Billing one but there was one in yellow at Stoneleigh :)

It's going to get even more interesting driving past your house I feel :D

I didn't know you were going either ... took my 2yo so didn't get much time to concentrate ... oh well, I'll be round to see Arthur when you have him home safely ... my ma in law is moving up to Alcester as soon as she finds a house and has already said I can have the driveway to restore a Landy ... can't wait :):)

No prob's mate just bring a wire brush and a grinder with ya :D :D

I'd say replace it ;)

change the drums for discs too so it stops, the one major thing I'll be doing next year is putting power steering in, the 109 weighs a fair bit and parking it is a right bugger
