I've been having a problem with cruise control. Goin down the road in my 300 tdi get her up to bout 50 ish nd hit the master switch, that seems to be ok. But when u hit the controls on the steering wheel nothing seems to happen, any idea's.................?

Dont use the cruise control hehe!!
Only kidding, does the cruise actualy engage then?

Just wondering if there's some kinda fuse you can check,is there any noise from your engine when you try to press the control ? make sure theres no rubber mats etc beside the foot brake might be stopping brake from going right up which will confuse the system as cruise control system works along with the braking system maybe ???,I had Honda with this great when it works ,might even be some kinda relay /sensor fused, lets us know more if you can

Yeh it seems to engage ok,its wen u press the controls on the steerin wheel nothin seems to happen. Could be some kinda fuse/sensor fused i will have to take it to a garage on tuesday with it being bank holiday over here in ireland. cheers anyway will let u know more as soon as i find out.

Check The Vacuum Hoes For Cracks.
If You Find Cracks Replace The Hose With A Llittle Longer Hose So The Bends Will Not Be As Tight. The The Tight Bends And The Underhood Temp. Make The Hose Crack Sooner.

cheers mate already got it sorted. It was the vacuum hose's they were split thank u very much anyway
