Hi, gents, hope someone can help. I have a 2.5 td 110, 1st problem is , when i engage diff lock there is no light on dash panel so am not sure if in/out. Have checked bulb and tested wiring to bulb, all okay, so can anyone advise. I have looked in landrover mauual but can`t find anything.

Secondly, i have noticed over the past couple of weeks that when out riding about the glow plug indicator comes on very dimley,hard to notice in day time, but as soon as it comes on the battery meter moves down nearly into the red until it goes out by it`s self. Can anyone help.

1. Probably the switch in the gearbox, either get a new one of just adjust it slightly (screw it in a bit) - they are sensitive. Otherwise you should check whether diff is engaging and if not then check the linkage.

Secondly, sounds like a dodgy short - get it checked out or spend some time finding it before there's a fire - sounds like it is draining quite a lot of power (unless it is miraculously shorting to the ammeter cable!)
