I have 2" blocks to rise my land rover and the blocks to go under the rear shocks do not fit. do I need to fit these, will the standard shocks be alright with the 2inch lift?

let simple physics take hold

if you've increased your spring size by 2 and your shock is at -2 for that spring that means it can still only go as far as the shock does it not ?

now shock droppers I understand I had some meself. but shirly the shock is just gonna swivel around the lifting block.

no its literally just a block with a stud on the bottom so the stud bolts into the standard place if from the bottom and then the stud on the base of the shock bolts into the block so it wont spin round

Doesn't matter if it spins round anyway though does it ? as long as its locked in place and doesn't undo it can be free to move a little

So it's got a threaded hole in the top that you screw onto a shocker? Who the fook thought that would be a good idea????

it'll either be a threaded hole or just a hole then use the bolt from there so essentially it just moves the mounting point up, be a piece of 3mm box no doubt with a stud welded on bottom if its the same ones I'm thinking of

check ebay there were a few on there a while back

Cheers but I'll stick to proper shock dropper plates that fasten to the chassis all nice and secure. not some ****e bodge up that makes Gresham look like a skilled fabricator :eek:
