Hi all. I'm new here so please be gentle. Recently bought a 97 110 csw and am new to landrovers although very pleased to finally be a member of the club. I'm trying to make it a little more presentable and looking for certain parts on websites. Most of them want to know what gearbox is fitted. Is there an easy way to identify whether it's the r380 or the lt77. Sorry if this seems like a really stoooopid question. Many thanks in advance.

From the Ashcroft website: "The R380 gearbox was introduced in approx 1995 with the suffix J and has now evolved to the suffix L and this has been used until the end of the Disco 2's and until 2007 in the Defender when the 2.4 TDCi engine was introduced which uses the MT82." Check your vin number.

I've got B and F on my pants (Back and Front) but still got them wrong getting dressed in front of the mirror.
I now use Bumhole and fudge gun and not got it wrong since!

Fit carpet mats over the rubber floor covering, then you can just take 'em out if you want to get dirty.
Make sure you get genuine LR ones (or the Britpart copy at half the price) as aftermarket ones are rubbish.

This conversation is hilarious :D
It's taken a few minutes to compose myself enough to reply. Absolutely crackin. Not sure Iain-s had really cottoned on there :D
She wants it nice and cosy. Whereas my argument is that I want it wipe clean

As long as the washing up, hoovering and cooking is all done, I can't see a problem with wimmin on ere.
