Maybe a dumb question so please for give me, I'm new to this.

Every time I start to undo the fuel cap to re-fuel, which is regularly!, it starts to hiss as air comes out, a little like if you take the top off the header tank when the engines warm.

Is this a sign of a problem? If so, how serious and what's the cure?

Or are all V8's like this?

Thanks.

Mine doesn't but maybe I accidentally removed some sort of one way valve when I altered my breather system!

If petrol is not air tight it goes off, causing carb problems with the ****ty fuel. Probably still goes off but not as quick.

My 110 used to do that cos' the vent tube that runs down the side was crushed while off roading. It shouldn't of happened to mine and wasn't normal!
