I have just added a 1988 pre defender 90 2.5 petrol to my stable of 2 series 3. There is a good free download for parts and workshop manuals for series vehicles, is anyone aware of similar for the 90.

Good old motor you’ve bought there. I have the Land Rover workshop manual on a spare computer I keep in the workshop. My mate found it and uploaded it for me. It is very concise and covers every detail you’d ever need. I used it a lot when I was doing my rebuild on my 300 tdi 90. I’ll ask him tomorrrow and get back to you with the information unless you find it before then. 👍

Thank you, I would really appreciate that. what I've bought is an 1988 truck cab 2.5 petrol with 25,000 miles. It just feels like a new car.

No problem. Truck cab will be fine and warm in the winter. My old man had the same motor with the 19j engine. That a rare low mileage you have, hardly run in.

Hey mate. Some info for you on manuals. I tracked my mate down to ask where he got the manual. It was bought on eBay of all things and they send you the cd you upload to the computer. Done quite a while ago and he doesn’t know where it is now but you might be able to get one on eBay. It’s the full manual and covers every detail so it’s worth the money. Hope you get it.
