I got a series 3 with PAS (allthough it hasnt been run up!!!)..........
Mite be moving the goal posts a little as i have v8 and rangie axles but did get it all on by using a gas axe to remove all the old steering box and putting on rangie steering column and mounting the PAS box to the chassis at the front. To do that bit i also cut out the front X member and replaced it with box section! basicly i looked at how it was on a rangie and rebuilt it on my series with bottles and welder!!!!
yeh i checked out them links that got put up and this one: Converting a series Land Rover to power steering prob gives the best idea. Slightly different that they yankee so obviously all the steering on the wrong side and the rangie PAS box sits inside the chassis, hence the removal of the front X member!
