Hi all,

To solve my overheating issues I've bought a new water pump. While Pulling it apart yesterday I founf that the seal between the Water pump and thr power steering pump has failed leading to loss of coolant and rotting the back of the power streering pump.

Once I removed the Power Steering pump I found that the driving coupling on the back of the Power Steering pump was spinning freely and came off (no drive to waterpump hopefully resulting in overheating - I just hope the head hasn't been damaged by this so far).

Has anyone had any joy in fixing these? The power steering seems to work just fine and it's just re-attaching the drive coupling that seems like the best (cheapest) option.

[For context I'm not against buying quality parts, you get what you pay for, but this project is rapidly exceeding the original budget and wages in Cornwall are pretty below average. I'll need to work a month to find the Spare cash for the next £100 part!]
