Hello all,

Well the 200tdi is running quite well, I have replaced the complete exhaust system beacause she was blowing a bit, and tweaked the injuector pump for some more go (and it made quite a difference)

I also did a mini pre-load job, removed two if the smallest shims because I have this horrid wobble when I hit pot hole over 50....it did improve things but I think it needs some more taking out, just need to pick up a balance to do the job right.......

Right, problem..

I do have a slight leak from the steering pump, it appears to be coming from the seal where the arm comes out of the bottom, is this common? easy to fix? does the 300tdi powersteering pump fit? there are loads being broken around by me so was thing of simple swapping the unit out....

its a pig of a job. not really a diy jobby unless you are very good and have the right workshop etc..
there is a website that details how to do it, cannot remember the name of it though.
much easier to change the unit. i think there was 2 types fitted to the discos.
someone else will correct me here.

yup, yer right EN, there are 2 different typoes, a 4 bolt and a 3 biolt. the seal is a pig to do, go to paddys spares, they are only 175 quid fer a recon and there is a 100 quid exchange, cheaper than faffing around with a seal
