When i drive through water (even a good puddle) the power steering imediately fails. It comes back just as quick when i'm out of the water.
The belt seems tight enough and it's a recent (6 months) PS pump.
Any ideas?

mine does this and the alternator light comes on as well but i know i need a new belt cos my battery light flickers at tick over with all the heaters and lights on
