hi all my 200 tdi power steering has had a fit and spat most of its oil out of the resivouir I assumed this was down to having air in the system it went very notchy after this I refilled it bleed from the bleed screw but it was still notchy and squealing could t see or find a leak anywhere u til 2 days later when I came out to find all the power steering fluid had ****ed out from the front of the pump I've been driving it with no power steering it has fluid in but not enough to **** out the pump as before there's no noises or anything like that now excpet from me when I'm turning the wheel ha ha I take it I just need a new pump as these or common faults on landys and overhauling them never really seems to last very long trouble is I'm not sure which one I need I think there's a choice of two and don't no what the diffrence bewtween them would be all the auto shops what around £130-£200 for one which is insane for a pump so I've found some Brit part ones on eBay for around £60 but just woundering if anyone could help with which one I need mines a 1992 200 tdi thanks

Or if any one has a secound hand one that would be good aswell

Is it a defender 200 or a disco 200 think both pumps are the same but the pipe fittings on the two pumps differ from each other, mines a defender 200 and i bought one from paddocks earlier this year for £150 i think, its a BP one but seems ok

As far as I no it's a defender 200tdi 1992 I begrudge paying that for a part when I can still drive it ha ha tight arse I no but I can get on eBay with a year 12 months warranty just don't no which one to but I think there's a diffrence with the amount of bolts I think some have 4 bolts and others have 3 any help tho would be great so I can replace this and giv my new found manly arms a big rest ha ha
