Ah yes these springs do make the clutch lighter, as the spring goes over centre as you depress the pedal and actually assists, rather than the OE spring that just makes it harder to press the further down it is.
HOWEVER
You've discovered the disadvantage, as l did. It makes the bite point more severe, as it's just at the pedal position where the spring goes over centre.
There's no adjustment, you just have to get used to it. After 40,000 miles l am fine with it, but still sometimes forget when in low range and get a lurch as the clutch engages.
