hi can anyone give me information on power drop when i turn my lights on please.

erm, makes yer lights dim.......



is yer alty belt slack? Brushes worn? Diode pack buggered? Battery knacked?

woss an xedi?????

or is it the engine power that drops....
an xedi is a gaylander so it's probably the elastic band is losing tension and need resetting

The problem is solved........ dont use your lights... jus drive in the daytime

tighten it, loosen the bolt and lever the alternator out till the belt tensions. seriously though if ya don't know then get yourself a manual and read up on it, you still haven't said what kind of power drop yet.

when driving i turn lights on power drops and no power on pedal for a few seconds then ok then comes back now and then
