If nobody is available to help another option would be to get it moved to private property even just to give a little more time to sort it.
 
As an aside, well done @Saint.V8 for a descriptive thread title.
I just skipped past the other one whilst looking through recent posts, and if i was looking at specific forums, i wouldn't be looking at the tratter forum.
Thread titles like urgent help needed are ten a penny, can be about nearly anything, and usually involve diesels, so i tend to subconsciously skip past them.
 
well, I tried....

He seemed to be in a bind, nasty neighbours, and had a bit of a ****e time of late and if I was closer I would have done the work for him, and said hi to neighbours while there.....posting on here to highlight his plight was as much as I could do to help.....

OSD also made a massive gesture and got a local garage to help out, shame the chap didn't get back to OSD and didn't attend the garage for the work to be done!

In anycase, I hope it gets all the issues sorted, esp. with the neighbours, I know how stressful that can be.

Last I heard he was selling up, buying an RV and heading round the world starting in the States. Hence the questions on towing the P38 a while back.

Oh yes of course, I remember now.....

This is why I want to move onto a Bl**dy big Barge - if I don't like my neighbours I can trot off down the river to somewhere else.....
 
My next-door neighbours here are great. And everytime I start to fiddle with the car he comes out within 30 minutes to watch and lend a hand. One of the reasons I've been here so long. Been here longer than anywhere else now.
 
After everything arranged for repairs, MoT and SORN, not a word back from Landyfox!
Could it have been too much trouble to pick up a phone??
However, not to worry, the offer will still be there if anyone else needs it ;);)
