Im going to look at a Range Rover this week. Does anyone have experience of these people

and what is a " AA Dealer Care extended Warrantee" like?

If you're on a budget, look else where. They aren't cheap to run, even if you do all of your own repair work.
 
Exactly

It's not the buying of them... Most people can easily afford a second hand one.
It's just the Damm running of them kills the Wallet !!

How much are they asking you to pay for this?

just been reading another forum, and a guy who works for a dealer with this TYPE of cover said it aint worth ****! unless an item collapses or breaks in a certain way, you arnt covered. some only cover certain items, that if they go they will screw you under "general wear and tear". eg: radiators, wheel bearings, etc etc etc.

As you can see from the list, MOST of these are wear and tear items. i'd like to see someone claim for a gearbox AND transfer case after this place has done their 64 point check!

They seem as decent as any car dealer (bit like asking if an estate agent can be trusted). AA Warrantees offer a bit of comfort I suppose (better with than without) and its something to wave at them when arguing. What are you thinking to buy?
Right, I'm going to sit down with the others now.

Personally I think warranties are a waste of time, better pay less and keep £1K to £2K for fixing it. If anything that is likely to be covered by the warranty fails in the first couple of months use the sale of goods act:)
