Hi , not currently a owner , but am looking to be , by the end of the weekend
First off, im used to the R8X which i sold 3 week ago following being made redundant and just couldn't afford to run the rx8 , no matter how much i liked it ..
2 days after selling the rx8 i was offered another job which starts a week on monday ( not much abseiling work out there at the moment but i found some )
Now my commute will be 30 / 40 mile a a day so been looking at the freelander TD4..
seen quite a few and some in my budget which i suppose is max at £2500 ( i know this aint mega bux but there are a few out there ) and been looking at 2002 / 2003 models within that price range. Now i do have a friend local who is a mechanic to come view any with as this is truly uncharted territory for me
could any one advise on what i should be looking for ?
any problems to look out for ?
is there any specific items items i should check that has been changed ?
what should i be asking potential sellers ?
any help would be great and look forward to keeping u all updated very soon
thanks
Dave
