Wondering if you could help out.

Mum bought a Freelander and we've had a few problems with it off and on.
It's a 2000 plate, 1.8 and it has the anniversary style body fittings.

The other night her rear window wouldn't go up, and she's also saying that the rear wiper doesn't operate or rear screen heater.

She was reading something about a CCU and that it should be reset but we need to disable the alarm system first.

Could anyone walk me through how to disable the alarm system and reset the ccu?

Is your wiring harness OK where it passes into the rear door ? since everything within the door is not working I am wondering if some wires have frayed
