Driving along at 70mph(ish) in the "overtaking" lane of the M56 the other day I lost my propshaft. Fortunately, I was very lucky in that the damage was minimal (mainly the propshaft and a few dents and scratches where it was flailing) although I admit the noise was buttock clenching scary!

I just wanted to post this to thank the mechanic who stopped and offered help whilst I was stuck on the side of the road. It never fails to amaze me the help that LandRover drivers offer one another! Sadly, I missed your name but thanks for stopping.

Cheers...

Matt

I don't know if it is common practice everywhere, but in my region (SW of France) I notice LR drivers often wave a hand when crossing each other, as do the bikers between them ...

Scary. my prop started clunking which made everyone look around. That was scary enough and I was only doing 5 mph.
I've heard people waving at each other in landy's As disscool said I not come across it apart from a nod maybe. :D:D

thats just the Tratta drivers elbows hitting the side window :D:D

:hysterically_laughi

Funny thing though........Series always wave...... 90's, 110's, older Fenders, Discos kitted for off-roading mostly wave........never get a wave from anything that looks like its still under warranty
