That one i linked to on eBay has a 1 year warranty, sounds ok to me.. maybe i should go for it

I hope you get it sorted. Keen to know the outcome as mine has just started whining. Being an L322 SC it’s not a replacement job I’m looking forward to as my last Range had it done by a garage and it took them all day.

It doesn't take long at all to change the alternator on a p38, very easy to get to. I'll get it ordered tomorrow, fingers crossed. My thought is, most likely fail in short order or live for years
