I appreciate there are mixed views about polybushes. I have decided to opt for them as quite a few bushes need replacing. Cost is an issue. Britpart are the cheapest and it would appear that many people slate them Has anyone had any positive experiences with britpart polybushes?

I used the orange Polybushes from the company at Wrexham for my Freelander. There was quite a debate on this site at the time. They were expensive (about £300) for the whole motor. They've been brilliant.

I've got SuperPro blue in my D1 - no problem, well, maybe the price.....

SWMBO's D1 has yellow sh*t Part ones in - and is quieter than mine - so figure that one out???!??!?!

Are they as good as the original rubber metalastic bushes? possibly not, but for the money, I think they are better value. OMO - YMMV :)

I'm also interested about those orange "Polibush" branded ones, are those the same with Britpart cos they look the same but it's "polibush" on the box

What I don't want to hear is how good the polybushes are after I've just bought a full set of OEM bushes for the rear of my TD5. Very expensive, but the original ones have lasted 13years, so they must be worth it (hopefully!!)

yes but the original ones were GENUINE... OEM is just a branded aftermarket "made in the backyard" by the same manufacturer who made the genuines.... i've said it many times, dont ever confuse GENUINE with OEM cos it's not the same.

Bugger, I've used the acronym OEM rather than state they are genuine Land Rover parts again. My bad.... The ones I've bought are genuine ones.

Then you are covered, how much they were though? is there a full set available or you had to pick them one by one by part number?

I bought them all from LRDirect, and ended buying each of them individually. I did have a list of the costs, but as I've been buying the required number of each of them, I've removed the prices sorry. I think from memory it was over £400 :eek:

I did see similar polybush kits myself, but I've read so many negative comments on here about how they needed to be replaced within months, I've just gone for the Land Rover ones.

and can you remember where were they made?....it's written on the package

I've checked another, and again, with the JLR genuine parts sticker on the pack, and this one was made in India!! (RGX100970)
