I seem to have a misfire on my D2 and have been advised by my LPG mechanic to change the plug leads. Hawkeye is telling me there is a problem with the O2 sensor bank 2 and misfires on cylinders 2,4,6 & 8 have been logged.
I plan to change the sensor in the very near future and have looked into changing the plug leads. However access is severely restricted between the block and the bulkhead where the coil packs are. Rave tells me to remove the plenum chamber but because of the LPG kit sitting on top I am reluctant to do this. I am considering removing the two front engine mounts and lowering the front of the engine with a jack to try to increase the clearance but I am concerned about damage to the torque convertor/gearbox input shafts.
Has anybody had any experience with this job and if so how did you overcome this problem?
Many thanks for any thoughts, advice or other input.
