Looking for a 110" csw 300tdi which this isn't but my kids found this and really like it:rolleyes:

I own up to knowing nothing about defenders, I can't even work out what's happening to the rear windows:eek:
It looks like a yardy/pimpy type motor but also like it's had ton's spent on it, please point out all the things and reasons this isn't a good one to buy as I've been looking for weeks now and can't find a nice csw 110" [or even a 90"]

Cheers
Brian

P.S. is it right I need 50 posts to be able to put a wanted post up? did one earlier and it vanished:confused:

Doubt it was built by the SVO guys looks more like a home made thing done by someone with special needs……..and a small penis…………..why you'd want to buy something with a scooby bonnet scoop is beyond me

It's not a CSW, so for kids you need forward facing seats with 3 point seat belts. Hold off and get the right landy from the start. All the bolt on bits can be bought afters and you can customise it the way you want. You should be able to get a 300 tdi CSW for a lot less than the £8k they want for that one

8 grand for a bloody gangster/drug dealers motor, it's hideous mate, keep yer money and keep searching.
That thing is tarted to death. ;)

how many kids cos this is a 4 seater by the look of it

Have 3 kids but only two at home so probably get away with a four seater.

Don't exactly float my boat in fact probably scares me a bit, I was after stock so I could refer to a manual when needed. I was hoping to learn from this post when all you knowledgeable guys point out all the things wrong with it;)

It can't be a popular motor as it's the second time it's been listed that I know of but out of 3 weeks of looking for a decent landy, it does seem that shiny paint commands high prices.

Anyone enlighten me on the rear windows, it must have them because he's fitted cages to the inside:confused: is it just a flat sheet of perspex stuck on the outside over the original windows?

Heap of pooh ... especially for a family and at that price you can get something way better.

Only two door, that'll be a beeatch when the kids get older/bigger. You'd need to do some work to see out the rear windows they look like they're covered over, but god only knows how, most of the tarting up is just that, tarting .. which doesn't add value, indeed detracts in many (this!) cases.

The two fold-up seats in the back are meant to be more temporary than permanent for passengers, they're a bugger to get past, fold down then sit down .. and certainly reduce room for shopping/****e .. ;)

It's not a 'natural' black, it was what looks like white or ivory originally and has had a poor paint job done, probably to hide scabby bits, which to me always says stay well clear!

3 weeks mid winter, its like trying to buy a topless sports car mid summer

Top price , least choice.

Cheers and I'm honestly trying to find the right one, just getting fed up a bit now. It's easier to buy a VW splitscreen camper van than a decent landrover:confused:

Awful. Tasteless. Bloody criminal.

The automotive equivalent of Waynetta Slob.

I did spot the colour change and your points taken on board, cheers:)

Guess that explains why I can't find what I'm after, currently checking out here, ebay, adtrader. preloved, gumtree and one other land rover forum where I'm not allowed to view the sales or wanted ads:confused:

on a scooby is not as bad as a scooby scoop on a fender though :p they're leaky enough

Cheers:D
