Ok hi guys n gals go easy. I'm brand new to Land Rovers. Just bought my first, Got it cheap as the following faults it has.
2001 Freelander 2.0 Diesel Auto.
1: No electric Windows
2: Radio / Sat Nav is dead
3: No Central Locking
4: Rear Door stays Locked and wont open ( Even with the key )
5: No Clock ( Although Backlight is lit )
6: No Courtesy Lights
7: Sunroof doesn't work
8: Heated seats don't work ( No lights on switches )
9: Rear window doesn't go down
Runs Perfect other than these faults. Are they related or a common issue ?
Not had chance to check any fuses yet as only bought it home an hour ago so it's dark. Thanks in advance.

Quick Update, Found a few Fuses blown. Replaced those now I have everything working except the rear door and an odd fault if anyone can help ? Ok if I press the Doorlock button in the car all doors lock and re open when pressed, However When the Keyfob is pressed it only activates the Alarm and doesn't lock the doors. Obviously all the Solenoids etc are fine as they lock fine when done by the button.

Have you tried pressing the open button 5 times quickly in a row to resync the alarm?

The fob signal is picked up by a receiver in the top of the display binnacle. This then triggers the CCU to lock the car. I would hazard a guess that you still have a fuse problem or glitch in the wiring.
But that being said, one of the first signs of a dying lock mechanism is that it will lock off the button but not the fob.
Investigate fuses etc first as a master lock mechanism (drivers side) is quite a few pennies.

Just a quick update to hopefully help others. The CCU had bad connections ( Dry Joints ) feeding the main fusebox under the steering wheel, Sorted these along with a few more blown fuses and Hey Presto !!! Everything now works fine, Cheers for all the help guys n gals.
