Hello everyone,
Yesterday when I turned on my Landrover, there was a red error code on the screen (the one at the bottom) and I couldn't use the car anymore.
Do you know what's happening and what could I do to fix this?
My model is Defender TD5, Year: 2000.

On a Td5 you may want to check the crank sensor and wiring.

Hi Juke179r, the battery is fully charged. It seems the error is related to a security lock function of this model.

Hi ronsealdeath, I have checked those things and they seem fine.

Follow the procedure in the manual for replacing the fob battery, even if you put the old one back in. Have had this happen a few times

This is my first thought too. If the fob battery has died, the fob won't be switching the immobiliser off. This means the square root of sod all happens when you turn the key.
