I have been offered an ex-mod 109 series 3 running on a petrol engine with full hood and canvas and what appears to very sound body

but and it is a BIG BUT

It has no de-commission papers or VIN plate just an engine numberÂ…..how easy would it be to get the DVLA to issue a number plate

shouldn't be a problem as i think most series landies where made before vin's came into being..of course i could be talking bollocks but i don't remember seeing any vin's on the ones i worked on
 
normally, as long as you can prove you bought the bits/car legally and they aint stolen, then a Q plate will be issued.

beware that Q plated cars are harder to sell. hence cheaper then the norm.
