Dodgy scraping, grinding noise on the way home today...

No droning and it did have an MOT last week. But...

Jacked the front up and lots of play in the front near side wheel. It has been pulling to that side for a week or so. And it is taking a couple of pumps on the brake to get some pressure.

No droning though.

I think it's the wheel bearing. Am I right? About to work into the night, so would be good to get some advice before I dive in.

Cheers,

Hmm. What do swivels look like? Guessing that's the big silver ball thingy, right? No way I can tell which by wiggling stuff? Makes no odds really if taking it all apart is the only way forward.

With the wheel off the ground and wobbling top and bottom you can see if the play is in the hub or at the swivel pin (under 4 bolts on top of swivel ball)....

But if you have grinding noise its more likely hub bearing beginning to break up.....if they're cheap nasty ****e they can go really quickly
