Disco I, 1995 vintage. The self-park on the wiper has gone flaky, which
also affects the intermittent wipe... I've not looked yet but I'd bet on
the parking switch on the wiper motor, or possibly a wiring fault.

If it's the former, can the switch be replaced by itself or is it new motor
time?

For the Defender, isn't there a diode in there somewhere that dies? I've
got to molish Marge's wipers soon (same problem), but I don't know how
similar they are to a disco's setup.

The last one I dismantled was GM, but it was just bendy copper strip and
relatively easily bodged ISTR.

As far as I can tell, it's new motor time - BUT both the books and
MicroCat are very vague on this - I'll have an investigate.
