This video is from the weekend when me and a few mates went out in Mid Wales. All the usual candidates like Llangollen steps, Pheasant steps, Whitestones, the V Gulley, Corwen and a special little lane we think we have re-discovered so we’ve claimed it as our own, Low Rangers lane!

In particular, you might want to look at 3.00 where in my attempts to be Spielberg I tried to take some film while my mate drove us down a rutted lane while I was standing on the bonnet! It all went horribly wrong!

That's right!

Great weekend, great weather, just unfortunate one of us had a problem .. diff pin sheared so took cv's, prop etc out and carried on, just took a while!
 
Yeah weather was top dollar! We've never been quite sure if Pheasant Steps was a one way lane so it was good to see you boys coming up it!
 
Were you the ones who parked up for us? Or the ones going down that by-passed us? Whichever, looked like fun anyway, we certainly had some!
 
Yeah. I didn't recover him, mine wouldn't have pulled another I doubt, small AT tyres, that was 90boy and his well-kitted 90 .. ;)

On the last of my videos in the greenlaning section I think we get a glimpse of your group just coming down and parking up for us, just as two of us peel off to park up for you .. then reverse back out 'cos you'd already parked!
 
I did take quite a bit of footage of your lot but we had so much from our own group that I ended up cutting it out!

You had some well kitted cars there mate. Have much trouble getting up the steps?
 
Yeah, some serious, and a couple not so serious, vehicles .. mine was least specced of 'em all!

I didn't have any trouble really, bit of tyre slip in a couple of places but that's what I love. Much prefer technical climbs where you have to think about the route and don't just sit there on the throttle! Bit of left-foot dabbing and away we go .. ;)

If you put 'our' footage up on Youtube that'd be good .. doesn't need editing or whatnot, or pm/email me with it as an attachment, I'd appreciate it! 'specially if there's any of my Disco in it, they don't film me much probably 'cos I'm not an exciting, wheel-spinning, mud-flinger, I just drive up, through and over stuff!!!!

No worries either way, cheers. ;)

Same with ours and my videos .. trouble was for me, newish camera only given to me a week ago, first time laning with it, only two small memory cards, so not much space and 'cos I didn't know the lanes I missed a lot of the interesting stuff through forgetting to start recording! Or, indeed, not knowing when or where would be good to start!

Just stuck it up behind the mirror and let it do it's thing .. :)

Right it seems most of your lot ended up on the cutting room floor! :director:

I've got a 33 second HD clip that's 16MB in size of you all climbing up to that point where one of you started to struggle. It shows all the cars in your group but nothing special. I can easily put it on a CD and send it mate unless you use anything like dropbox?
 
Looks like fun.

Reminded me of jumping on the bonnet of metro for a lift up the road to my house ****ed up years ago, all went well until we got outside the house and I yelled 'STOP!' which the silly bitch did rather promptly. I must have rolled 50 foot. :lol:
