Firstly no I have not got a screw loose but I am totally mystified.
The car did not have a camera on it the original owner confirmed that.
However we are the second owner it was at a couple of car dealers before it got to us.
When we got it there was a reversing camera definitely.

Then it stopped working we had an auto electrician check another problem and asked him to check the camera. Well after the car was basically dismantled no wires no holes no camera???
Would any of you knowledgeably people having any thoughts

Thanks a totally confused me

Recently purchased an old BMW with a reversing camera, if that disappears without trace we can start a club ;)

Hmm. Had it been aftermarket, I'd suggest it was wireless and stopped working when it fell off.

If it wasn't made with a reverse camera, and doesn't have any trace of it having had a camera fitted subsequently, then maybe you're mistaken?

Does it have a screen where the camera can be displayed?

Agreed, there must be a screen. Did it use the rearview mirror? As above, could be wireless and fell off, but the screen should be there. Where was the image when you found you did have it?

Assuming its a rrs have you looked at the back of the car to see where it could have been mounted?
