Hi, Having been a classic owner for a number years, i have recently changed course and brought a series 3 petrol which i am converting to diesel. i have purchased a 2.5 n/a unit which is to be fitted in near future, this i believe to be a pretty standard mod does any body know of any problems to look out for or pointers. you will find every problem

am halfway through a 225 petrol to a 2.5TD a few little problems i came across were:
radiator hoses are smaller bore
exhaust is different in both bore and shape
engine mounts are in the wrong place
battery fouls the ip
no return on the fuel tank

apart from that its a piece o **** :rolleyes:
