hi all im new to the whole off-roading group thing im from Peterborough and every time myself and friend try to get a group together to go green laning only ever 1 other person arrives and comes out with us would anyone possibly take us out around the local area to show us a few routes as we did pedlars way last weekend and Ely today and now we don't know where to go can anyone take us out for a few hours ( within 50 miles of Peterborough) many thanks V6 rider :D:fighting2:
 
don't know any lanes but would be up for some laning with you at some point and depending on time and day my mate Skudman might be up for it aswell both in lifted D1's
 
I have a 20 lane trip around the Melton Mowbray area that needs to be explored if you would be up for it. Not sure if it would be within your travel parameters. I have been meaning to get over there for a while now.

I would stick with this one. There's already a bit of interest and a new thread will just confuse things. Pick a day you want to go. Post it on here and see who wants to go then I will sort out a meet point n time. May have to swap info with you Funkykipper to plan route.

yeah thats fine next sunday i think would be best then people aint rushing round on roads and its a bit more fun :)
 
Ely and Soham have some ok lanes, just did north Essex this weekend. Thetford is also good especially for larger groups.

I have an outstanding invited for Animal... I usually organise a trip every 6 to 8 weeks but the issue with organising groups is if you don't invite enough, you end up going solo, invite too many they all turn up and the groups are too large. This ca be an issue in Essex where you often come across walkers who often hate our guts.....

Next time we're out I shout you.....
 
well me and my mate have working trucks now so I'm up for it so long as I have fuel in the tank and the spare time not 100% about my mate as he needs his truck to get to work so is a bit paranoid about possible breakages whereas I have a second car to solve that
 
if anyone is up for laning this weekend im going down pedlars way and back up there we will be meeting at kyngs lynn kfc at 11 :) if you coming can u drop me a pm :) just so i can get an idea on who is coming :) many thanks people

please do as we was there sunday and did a few routtes :) :cool:
 
Will see what my mate is up to and what my missus has planned for me. Then ill let you know if im coming
