I have a 1984 110 with a perkins 3800cc conversion which has a cracked water jacket therefore i want to replace the engine.Is a 200tdi defender engine and gearbox going to be a good choice(fitting and performance) or is the disco just as good /easy to fit?

Disco much cheaper. Not a lot between the 2 apart from that. You'll need the fender gb.
