HI
I have a perkins 4236 in a lwb.
It looks a bit of a monster, anyone got any experience of them?
starts easily!
 
Thats a big lump u got in there - bet it pulls a house down :) , more horsepower in a strimmer but torquey as ya like . Mainly used in marine applications tho .
If you dont mind going slow everywhere and your happy with it then Id leave it in as service parts are still available for em .
 
just in the process of repairing hgf on a 4203 on mates boat.Before the problem his started on the button everytime a lot of the time no heat needed
