I couldn't undo the connectors of the wiring as they need a tool to push detents in, so I ended up taping it in place and folding the mirror in for the journey home.

Is there a trick to replacing the glass, or has the plastic frame snapped or something?
I cannot see any "newly broken" plastic edges in there at all.

The heated mirrors fail because they are on all the time regardless of need. If I ever replace my dead ones I will rewire to come on with the heated rear window only.

Changed the front brake pads today, feels like the system needs bleeding again.
I don't like petrol engines these days, they have those nasty sparky things and they misfire. Changed the rotor arm, distributor cap, leads and plug caps (they were only 33 years old ) and it made no difference Waiting for new spark plugs

The owner complained of a broken alt belt.
Both the water pump and alternator are seized.. not been turned over regular enough.. the water pump is re-buildable I think? MR2, Good old Jap engineering
