Hi all, bin a while (cancer & covid) but all good now we’ll except for her majesty who has in the last cold snap decided to blow hot air drivers side but only like warm air passenger side, any ideas/fixes would be much appreciated

Glad to hear your OK kiddo, jeez what a year..
Sounds like a sticky flapo_O
Do you have any diagnostics that'll talk to the heating system and report back movement?

Run a diagnostic on the HVAC system, which will probably report a blender stepper has stopped functioning, which is pretty common.

Well now here’s a thing, fault codes as follows B1085 = defrost damper motor, B1082 = Right temp damper motor, bit odd when drivers side belts hot air out but it’s the passenger side that only blows Luke warm, just wondering if there could be a bit of debris causing blend door to stick.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Maybe not.
If the RHS is stuck in the full hot position, then it would make sense that the temperature sensor is returning a hot signal, so the system is trying to cool the cabin, using then only functional blend damper, which is on the LHS.
Just a theory anyway.

Cheers for that nodge, but both sides will blow cold on cold but only drivers side blow hot on hot :(

Hi all , happy new year
Anyone got any idea best place to feed an inspection camera down the air vents to check passenger side blend motors, still showing no fault codes but mechanic mate of mine says they don’t always as they can work but not fully if that makes sense, ta muchley, Phil
