D Daryll Member Jan 20, 2010 #1 My poor old L reg disco just failed the MOT on the following. Passenger door will not open from the inside. Also the electric window on that door makes scratching noises and is very jerky and slow compared to the others. any ideas guys ?? Daryll

discobill Active Member Jan 20, 2010 #2 Sounds as if the window regulator's shagged... common fault. As for the lock, get the door card off and have a nose around.

S sofawizard New Member Jan 20, 2010 #3 door stuck maybe the wee spring in the latch you get em on ebay for a few quid and yer window sounds like the winder mechanism is on its way out you again can get a kit to fix this not these are not expensive so im told
