:).Hello All,I have just ordered new front brake pads from Paddocks, these are the items :SFP000020 Front Brake Pads (axle set) - from 1A000001.I noticed that there are various different parts numbers and wondered if I have the correct ones..Looks like there are early chassis numbers like this:YA999999 or for later ones like this:1A000001.I remember somewhere seeing how to read your chassis number and what it meant, anybody know where?.My chassis number is 1A5****0,so am I right thinking that for ordering any future parts that my Freelander is a 1A000001 model and not a YA999999 model?.Thanks for any answers or advice to a probably dumb question,,just want to avoid any expensive mistakes.

errr, did you want to rethink showing your chassis number on your post ?
Not saying anything, but there are some bad people who do bad things.

Sounds like the right pads to me
Yes yours is from 1A000001, you can ignor all the SALL... stuff

If you have any problems sourcing pads for the Freelander, you can pop into your local Rover and Honda dealer as they share parts with the Rover 200/400 and Honda Civic.

.. and you can get Genuine Manufacterer's parts for a cheaper price than LRs!

Cheers
