So the baliffs are about to take my discovery overlander.

What's worse is it's for a fine they say occurred when I had a valid parking permit. The fine was received on the 30th December 2016 and my permit was bought on the 24th December 2016. I got ticketed as it was in the post and the temp one on a PDF was corrupt.

The council said they cancelled them however now the bailiffs are threatening to tow it away. If it wasn't for the off-road tyre being to big for a standard clamp it would be claimed up.

I'm more worried they will scratch it/damage it if towing. The council only have email and its take a while to get a response.

Anyone had this before and how I deal with it? Quite annoying having to go through lol this hassle when I paid my permit in the first place.

My brother had em round the other night and had no choice but to pay them the £500ish. I would suggest taking as many pics as possible, wrote itsmileage on a bit of paper and stick it to the dash so they know that you have taken proof of that. If they take it by mistake they have to return it, if they damage it then they have to put it right.
