I may be talking out my arse but here goes.
Do you think you could leave a small greenhouse paraffin heater on in the back over night to stop everything icing up (without setting light to your pride & joy)
I'm now waiting for all the crazy answers like stop talking out your arse Graham :D

Can picture all the neighbourhood cats stretched out on the roof by the morning! :D

dont forget - paraffin heaters push out loads of water as well - so it wont be frozen - just soaking wet .

What spead £300 on a webasto or £20 on a paraffin heater, what do you think I'm made of money.
It's soaking wet inside anyway :D
That's why nobody else is doing it

get a small oil-filled radiator and run out an extension lead.
good idea to plug it into an RCD though.

Why bother, it'll be fecking freezing in there after the first mile anyway

to bloody true:D

or a small fan heater, say 2 kw, which you can run on a lead into your house. in the morning, just plug it in when you get up, then by the time you go out in the morning, all toasty warm, as trewy says, best plug it in through an RCD though, unless it is fed from an RCD protected circuit at the main fuse board.

The only problem with running a lead to a electric heater is some dick will trip over it cos it will have to go across the path

iv just got one of them bathroom heater fan jobbies, runs off me inverter and gets it toasty in no time. gave up trying to make a landy heater heat :)

so a scrap yard fbh would be best as it has an exhaust.plenty of cars have em if you can find em.....

in the range rover section you will find how too.

where is this how to, all i can find is an how not to, my bleedin posts!!!:D:D:D:D:D

i would go for a night heater type, usually called a webasto airtop, galaxy's, sharans, allhambras amongt others have them, the coolant heaters are a pain!!!

you can fit a simple timer from maplins type places or get a remote gate/garage door opener (on fleebay) for about 3 quid + post.

you can even rig it up so you can send a text message to it, trick is to set up a text on yer phone, then delay the sending till half hour before you need to start the car.
