you've checked for continuity on each of the wires in pairs with a multi meter to find out it's burnt out then?? the thermal overload switch is a **** of a thing to change, but it can be done.

type this item number into ebay: 190350841322

The overheat cutout switch is located within the compressor. Compressor needs to be stripped to remove and re solder a new one in. They are available from Rover Renovations in the USA for around $16.00 + post. But if you strip the old one out and read the numbers on it you may be able to get one from CPC or Radio spares.

Someone on Ebay is taking the ****.
At CPC. Airpax 67F110, 110 degree thermal switch. Same as the one on Ebay. £2.95 plus vat, plus post.
